In the eastern plains of Colombia, region of large extensions of land where people live that to have medical attention must move for hours. We arrived at Avion Hercules to Marandua , a base of the Colombian Air Force and from there in small planes to the spring town. People who live there they spend up to 18 hours to reach a town with services, as long as it is summer and the road is good. Many of the patients tired 5 hours to get to the place where we settled. The medications had to carry them. It was a very long journey in plane and part of land but it was worth it.
We accompany the FAC to the population of Zipacón, which means the "crying of the zipa." The Zipa was the chief of the indigenous muisis and Zipacon was his resting place in addition to being a military fort against the indigenous Anolaima. It is also an archaeological site where pre -Columbian agriculture, the ancient mass of America have been found. We went with our team from the Military University and the support of the Aerea Force. NOSA we install in a town school.
