MOTIVATION STUDENTS 

To our young doctors ... have to teach whenever they ask us. Remember that you are in our essence of doctors share knowledge. You have to leave the ego and talk about us as a first step "to humanize." A group of teenagers asked me for the favor to tell them because their breasts hurt, something very common to their age. With a simple explanation I took the opportunity to teach them how to find breast cancer early, such as self -appointed and a mission ... reaching their homes and asking "mom, do you examine your breasts?" We give them a simple drawing with information that we know impact, so that they teach them. Screening programs are 50 years in Colombia and many younger women are not so connected to this information, they still see this cancer as some older women and it is not so ... well ... the information that these adolescents carry To its houses it has served to discover cancer in some mothers under 50, especially women head that frequently do not have time to go to a prevention program. Teaching to teach is the motto here. The lesson for our doctors, no matter how many specialties I love to share with these teenagers. Commit to your communities during the rural year. Sometimes payment are cheese, fruits, chickens and the satisfaction of knowing that they shared their knowledge.

Lead with the example. We teach our young doctors the importance of leading changes in society with their credibility. Here teaching teenagers, because their breasts hurt and how to find cancer early, in distant municipalities to Bogotá. These teenagers of both sexes, learned to draw how to take information to their moms with a question: "Mom, you examine your breasts .. I will teach you .." Many women do not have time to learn or do not know They feel for fear ... Look at the drawings ... beautiful and simple. But you have to commit more to their communities, so they went out to walk with the march organized by the Government and Mayor's Office of this municipality, Apulo. Women loved the presence of our young doctors. Here we begin to change the way of teaching about this cancer. The women joked, they loved everything they learned later in their screening. Sadly we find some suspicious injuries ... but on time! It is one of the early diagnosis pillars of breast cancer better prepare our doctors as we have been doing from the university and the teaching of the route of attention to the rural doctors of our Government.
